are unlike any other experience in the Adirondacks!
You’ll enjoy a private room or cabin that’s just as rustic today as it was at the turn of the century. Many of our guest rooms feature the original polished log bed frames that were used by the Vanderbilt’s and their guests 100 years ago, recently fitted with new high quality mattresses.
Relax and discuss the day’s adventures together with your fellow campmates while sharing your meals around the camp’s original grand dining tables in the historic Dining Hall overlooking Sagamore Lake.
All Overnight Stays at Great Camp Sagamore Include:
Accommodations and all meals throughout your stay, beginning with dinner following your check-in and culminating with a hearty breakfast before checking out.
Your stay also includes access to our standard programming and amenities, such as:
A tour of the Historic Buildings and Grounds led by one of our knowledgeable Historical Interpreters
Bowling in Alfred & Margaret Vanderbilt’s open-air bowling alley
Guided Hikes and Paddles with our expert Program staff (Canoes & Kayaks available)
Use of our Boating and other Recreational Equipment and Facilities
A selection of Tabletop/Board and Lawn Games as well as books and videos available in the Reading Room and throughout the Guest Lounges
Campfires & Smores at the Lean-to
Additional concerts, talks/presentations, and activities available on certain dates.
