Join the culinary team at Great Camp Sagamore as one of our Sous Chefs. You will be second in command to the Head Chef, working to plan and execute an imaginative, high-quality menu for our guests. You will help in a supervisory capacity over the breakfast and prep chef, as well as kitchen interns. You will manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Candidates should have mastered basic professional kitchen skills. Culinary degrees and professional experience will be regarded along with an excellent work ethic, a willingness to learn and follow directions, and a commitment to lift our culinary program to the next level. Our own commitment to this endeavor is demonstrated by a complete state-of-the-art renovation of our kitchen, taking place as we speak.

Sagamore's season runs from late May through Mid-October. Housing is on site at Great Camp Sagamore, a National Historic Landmark. Sagamore is situated in an area of the Adirondack Park with over 100,000 acres of forest, lakes and streams with abundant hiking, canoeing and outdoor recreational opportunities to enjoy.

Is looking for a Head Housekeeper and staff to help us maintain our beautiful National Historic Landmark property in the midst of thousands of acres of Adirondack forest preserve land. Sagamore is located on its own lake with hiking, paddling and mountain biking opportunities at our doorstep. The vibe at camp is a great group of people working together to make sure our guests learn and relax in the clear, balsam scented air and plenty of great food created by our chefs.
Clean guest and meeting rooms and set up for incoming programs, work with staff to maintain public areas including lounges, porches and restrooms to highest standards. Duties include vacuuming, emptying trash, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and assisting with loading laundry. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Are self-starters who are dependable and enthusiastic and who enjoy working with the tight-knit group of guests and staff at Sagamore. Must enjoy being in a wilderness area with more bears, loons and moose than humans.
