Fishing Creel
This newly designed creel is woven with reed in a continuous weave. There is significant attention to shaping as it is made to conform to being worn on one’s hip. Linda will be guiding students as they weave as this can be a challenge. The rim is double lashed with artificial sinew. Students will cut a lid of leather to fit their woven creel, cut the hole in it, and fit the buckle strap and attach to the creel. The harness will be made prior to class. Students have a choice of nickel or copper hardware. Choice needs to be made when registering.
Approximate Dimensions: 10 ½” x 8” x 7”H
Materials Fee: Fishing Creel $95.00 with silver, $110.00 with copper
