Women in the Woods

Starting at $470/Person - All inclusive

A longstanding Sagamore tradition once led by Anne LaBastille, this weekend is for women who want adventure and to explore nature. Spend the weekend hiking, canoeing, meeting and bonding with other women while unwinding in the fresh Adirondack autumn air.

This is a very popular program and is revisited each year by returning participants, so register early!

Instructors

Hannah Gibbons-Arthur

Hannah is honored to be a part of the Women in the Woods program. She worked at Great Camp Sagamore for 6 years, and it will always have a special place in her heart. She recently moved to Central New York to raise her babies close to family and now cherishes her time in the Adirondacks even more. Hannah is an Events Coordinator at the Cortland County YMCA and enjoys gardening, hiking, tennis and spending time with family.

Corrie Magee

Corrie lives, works and plays in the Adirondacks. Corrie spends her free time reading, gardening, hiking, paddling, bike riding and camping. She works at the Adirondack Park Agency and is also an Emergency Medical Technician. This summer, she's going to ride her bike from the Adirondacks to Acadia National Park and raise money for an animal rescue.
